As far as the weenie thing, payback was way overdue! By the way you got poked in the left eye not the right! So in all honesty your attempt at making an excuse for your weak performance the next morning by dragging me into it is nothing but weak aswell. May I also bring up while we were shooting and after I cleared the first five rams you tried to get into my head and remind me how I never shot ten in a row and to not screw it up. Reminding me of gusting winds and everything that one would not want to hear while in the process of attempting to and succeeding to clear 10 rams for the first time. Pretty sad that you would root against your once student! What's wrong hammy, can't handle a little competition?

Forget the bears, and the auto focus spotting scope....the 11+pm bed time and comments about I'm fine, "I wont need cover in this weather" to the 3 something am teeth chattering and "I'm freeeeeeeezing." all said loud enough to be heard two tents away. And the flat air matress that was laid on top of a bramble patch, and don't ask what a bramble patch is, and jjp was kind enough to offer up his cot (no sleeping bag with it though).

Weenie in the eye sounds like a great excuse to me Hammy, cause we all know when one eye hurts the other sympathizes.

Those cocktail wienie blinders are all the rage these days for your non dominate eye I hear. Not sure if that qualifies under the NRA rule book though.

As for trying to get in your head BH that is all part of the game. Consider it a gentle hazing of sorts and helps you to shoot under pressure. Just makes it all the sweeter when you get all 10. We usually reserve comment for after the shot is taken but occasionally you will hear someone or two "clearing" their throat as you shoulder up for #10. Then if you hit you are congratulated and if you miss you get a chorus of South Louisiana Bull Frogs croaking the choke song in your honor. Or some other smartass comment but it is all in good fun.

Evidently Hammy and his bunkmate Byron share this same tactic. Byron yelled out to everyone that I had 9-in-a-row turkeys and I was about to shoot number ten several months ago. I was just focusing on one target at a time until that point, surprisingly enough. I didn't even realize I was one shot away from clearing all 10 turkeys. Luckily, I had a few extra seconds to take a couple breaths and get my focus back to get the tenth one. After I thought about it, I do appreciate him doing that so that I can get more practice dealing with tension during the local monthly matches like that so I will be able to handle it better at the big matches. At time, I wasn't all that appreciative, though.

The problem or maybe the answer is, our monthly matches are crazier than the big matches!
