Hope we did not lose an SKB sale ! Hey Dee, avoid the 2SKB-5014 quad case...weak handle apparently. To be fair this case is around ten years old, but has not seen that much use. Go with one of those heavy duty looking ones from SKB like addicted to SB bought. Mine will be much better after my new aluminum handle retro fit.

I will not be making a handle afterall. I called the SKB warrenty number (1-800-654-5992) and they are sending me the current padded steel spring fold down handle for free. I will have to remove the old handle mounts and drill and rivit or screw on the new one. I think I can "handle" this project. :wink:

No worries, I don't go after every lizard I see, only an invasive species that came over a few years ago. I'm all for lizards actually, along with spiders too. We get a ton of flys here from time to time so any creature that will help that situation out is a friend to me. :-bd

Ha ha. :lol: She still has not noticed it missing. I cut off the leather and tossed the evidence. I will deny having any knowledge of it's whereabouts :D .
