Once this subsides a little, my stash will get some serious attention. Zombies and black helicopters worry me much less than these surges in panic buying.

Story goes that a UPS truck suffered an an'splosion one day and they blamed the primers being packaged too close together allowing for sympathetic detonations...

Where people buying it at that price? I saw the same kind of ammo for sale at a Phoenix Gun Show earlier in the year and the going price for a brick was $50 and they sold out in a hurry. I saw other cheap ammo Aguila Centurion being offered for $60 a brick but there were not too many buyers for that ammo at that price.

Hopefully this BS is over soon. The gun bill is pretty well dead, so the panic should subside. Everyone should take the time to register and vote.
I sold a case of CCI for 250, and 300, a case of Wolf for 400. A good guy need some at the last match, so I whispered I would sell him a case at last years catalog price. I damn near got raped. 5 guys came out of the wood work and wanted ammo. I can afford to sell 3 more cases at this Sunday's match, but that is all I have to spare. Hopefully it does not go up in cost because I am selling it at last years price.

Just saw where one of the companies - who are long time "good" ammo suppliers got in a little ammo and over doubled their prices on wolf.... Selling for near Tenex prices...

I have a pretty hefty stock pile of plinking and hunting ammo that's been on the shelf for several years now and I finally decided to put some up on Gunbroker to see what would happen. I sold a couple bricks of Federal Champion 510 for $40 each and a brick of Winchester Subsonic for $87. Basically all rimfire ammo seems to still be selling for more than double what it should be. I think I'll sell a few more bricks of the Winchester and put the money away until next year and buy a case of STD+ when it becomes available again.
I don't know if people are hoarding the rimfire ammo or if they are shooting it, but I figure I have it and they want it… I might as well put it out there and let them buy it. Normally I wouldn't sell it cause this is ammo that I purchased years ago for myself. I pretty much only shoot rimfire during matches anymore so my plinking/hunting ammo has just been collecting dust.
I'd never go out and clean out Walmart and turn around and sell it on GB like what is going on. That is F'd up.
