As for CS, I can vouch that Sightron has been fantastic and if Chicken George has had issues with CS, then maybe there is a personal problem on his part. Leupold has also had some great CS, but I have also had some very marginal CS with them. Weaver has been ok, but not great, so go with what you are comfortable with.

Sorry to bring up old posts... been busy... For the record - My issue with Sightron's CS was not personal. Had a customer get one dead out of the box... He didn't contact me (wish he would have) and sent it in... they told him 6-8 weeks. He then contacted me... I contacted them and asked for some help... I don't know if the customer had pissed in their cherios or what... but they told me 6-8 weeks. I sent a reply back and asked if 6-8 weeks on a ~ $650 that arrived dead on arrival seem acceptable and they said it was. Hopefully they have made a change ... because I know the folks that sponsored our shooting events NEVER took that kind of stance with us... As Bob mentioned Allen w/ Sightron went above and beyond... I was basically told 'Allen is no longer here' .. haha... I do sell them, but I rely on their support of the products I sell and choose to make sure anyone buyiong one from me knows where they stand. Would love to hear this has been changed... as their product does fill a value niche in our market! Again - sorry to bring up an old post... Just wanted to clairfy on the problems I've had.
