Hello everybody,

It's that time of year again. The 2015 Louisiana State Smallbore Rifle Silhouette Championships will be held the last weekend in August. Friday August 28 the range will be open for practice after 3PM. The match will be Saturday August 29 and Sunday August 30. Lunch will be served both days. That should ensure that the Louisiana Silhouette Team will have an advantage in the afternoon matches. We invite one and all to come pass a good time with us. I've already put the order in for 62 degree temps. The entry form is below.

Hello everyone,

A little more than 5 weeks until our little championship. Y'all come on out and have some great food. Shoot some good scores. And sweat a lot.( I promise you'll sweat away more calories than you'll eat.) We'll have the 1/5th scale open sight match again Saturday after the regular match completes.

Word is that President Obama is planning to be in attendance on Saturday to personally present the championship award to the Louisiana Smallbore Iron Sights State Champion!

Mmmmmmm, as busy as we all were with the match and all the records and such, that you didn't realize that all those stickers were No Obama stickers. I really think that a great boost to attendance would be to get Donald Trump to come, or at least he send his toupee to present the trophies. I bet the would draw attention to our sport.

If the Trump is making an appearance, you're going to have to take your Hillary posters down.

BTW, the word is that Texas is straight up scared to venture over here into Louisiana to shoot silhouette nowadays! That's not true, is it? I'm sure that there will be a huge legion of Texas shooters coming over this weekend to dispel that rumor, right?

Also, the other big rumor is that there is not one single rifle silhouette shooter left in either Mississippi or Alabama. Considering both of those states are so close, surely if there are any left we will see them here this weekend since they don't have any matches of their own to shoot.

Now, Dustin, that's not the proper way to hustle, I mean invite competitors from other states. Tell them about the wonderful weather we have planned for the match. Or, maybe the gourmet food that we will provide for lunch. Or, maybe the lovely and beautiful young ladies that will kindly beat their butts. Be polite until its time to not be polite.
