Having difficulty determining if an adjustable comb is permitted for NRA Standard Rifle competition? If so where can this be found in the rule book?
Any comments greatly appreciated.
thanks!

Page 5, section 3.1 (d) includes, "The comb shall not extend above the centerline of the bore, but Monte Carlo roll may rise 1/2 inch on the off side."
Page 10, section 3.15 includes, "Adjustable cheek pieces must be fixed and sealed in place."
Hopefully that covers your questions.

Thanks for the response acorneau!
For those that have done this before how did you achieve "fixed and sealed in place"?
Would something as simple as using thread locker on the adjusting screws meet the requirement? Or possibly going as far to epoxy things permanently?
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

Duct tape?
I don't think you have to go wild, they just want to make sure you don't pass inspection then crank it up higher than its allowed.

I would think that once it is adjusted to fit you should fill in all the gaps with a body putty. Sand smooth and paint the stock with a good automotive primer, base color and clear coat should conform to the rules.
A nice bright red or medium to dark blue should look equally nice.
