• Just an observation

Anyone notice how busy this forum is during the week when all are at work, and how quiet it is on the weekends when all are on their own time?

BTW - I will have applications with me at Raton for the Tennessee State Champs on 18 August in case you need one. Beat the rush.

I'm ususally at a match on the weekend there for I'm getting my fill of interaction and jocularity with some of the greatest people on the planet.....now try and read that with a straight face, I couldn't even type it with out laughing.

GATOR,DAWG.... DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU GUYS, BUT DURING THE WORK WEEK ALL I THINK ABOUT WHILE I"M MILLING OR TURNING METAL IS WHEN MY NEXT HIGHPOWER FIX WILL BE (that is if i am not looking at the clock to see when my next break is). WE GOT OUR REGULAR MONTHLY HP MATCH TOMORROW(SUN. 1ST). IT IS SUPPOSED TO HIT 100 ON THE COLORADO PLAINS. HOPE IT"S NOT WINDY,TOO. THIS WILL BE OUR LAST HP SHOOTING BEFORE RATON..................BOB M.

Seen the interaction and particularly the jocularity. Quite a sight to behold. One needs be in top physical condition to witness such demonstrations without some permanent consequences. Like living on the edge..

Agreed about the company we keep. Can't get much better than that.... (An occasional weak link here and there)

Guess we will miss you next week. What are we to do without you and McClung?

Gator,
We will have the Golden Cow Patty champion present next week. Granted his presence is not as entaining at times as the Dawg and McClung, or some of the earlier GCP winners but we can alsways get him stirred up on why he left his valuable award behind.

As for me bing more active on SC during the week, hey man the kid keeps the computer occupied during the weekend and I'm usually at a match or playing the politics of the state association. See you Saturday sometime.

Trust me, if it was at all possible I would have made it to the nationals. But every once in awhile the powers that be decide I must do some kind of forced mental labor for my subsistance. The old line of they pretend to pay, I pretend to work, well they want me to do some of that pretending.

I'm sure Mary will fill in for me and Clung, she has that kind of knack.

(An occasional weak link here and there) ....................And a few missing links in there too.
