Bad planning...... primer issue......

With about three weeks to go before Nationals, I decided to replace my factory rifle barrel with a new Lilja (I know, I know...I ain't the greatest planner in the world!). And then I started thinking about a new chamber, which might not chamber the 85 neck-sized and primed shiny cases I got sitting on my reloading bench (I know, I know... I ain't the greatest planner in the world!). My neck-sized rounds are hard to cock even in my old factory chamber..... So here's the issue: if I back out my depriming pin some on my full length resizing die, do you think I could possibly resize, very carefully, my eighty-five already primed cases? This may be the world's stupidest question but as a high power reloader, I make a damn good ski patroller. Any help appreciated....

Hey Mel, you are not alone, I occasionally have customers who supply reloads so I can test fire their new barrel and I find they don't fit in the new chamber. I like to take the decapping pin out of the decapping rod when I have to do what you are doing. Don't forget to put the pin back in when your done.
PS Bring along some of your resized brass this weekend.
