So, in the upper right background of the 39A there is a drawing of what looks like a road course track? I say road course because the turns are labelled. What is the story on that drawing?

If you lived near me I'd probably relieve you of the burden of owning that marlin. It looks to be a fine gun and the price is right. I bought a 39 a couple of years ago and later found one of the characters had been drilled through when the tang sight was mounted. That was a pain in the rear . I ended up calling ATF, and the US Attorney's office for a remedy. Both offices worked their rear off to help me find a solution so I don't buy any more guns sight unseen. You should be able to sell this one very quickly.

Yes...A very good U.S. Attorney and a Very good ATF agent. I was advised the gun needs to stay in possession of the person that filled out the 4473....and no matter what..it's an obliterated serial number and can't be over stamped, placed somewhere else , etc. I had worked with the AUSA and he contacted the agent at ATF. Your 39a should sell very quickly.
