Bob, Explain this one to me. How can a man be a literary genius (Rambo), able to install 2 barrels on two different rifles, have them headspace within .002, be the Colorado 2007 HPHR State Champ, post numerous photos on the web, and not know about the CAP LOCK KEY?

Hey Jim.........BACK OFF!

Since Jason complained ( I mean made me aware of) the CAP LOCK FIASCO, I have corrected the error of my ways. And another thing, give me more credit as a machinist, PLEASE. I hit that headspace at .0002 (3 zeroes) not .002. Anybody can hit .002. As for Rambo, I have no clue as to where that came from. By the way, he sent me a letter last Sat. And everybody knows by now that I love looking at gun related pictures.....even my own. I have only been messing with my wifes computer for a year. Lately, she has to kick me off it so she can use it, too. And my handloading chores are getting way behind. Thank the silhouette gods for giving us STEELCHICKENS.COM.............Bob

Kitty,
All caps or not kind of guy, we need to hear from Rambo again!!!What kind of wife would worry about knowing where her husband is (ofcourse he's reading steelchickens again!) and try to put parental controls on.

Bob, First things first, I have been known to be more than one zero off. Second my averages in talking to wifes aren't that great (you are on your own there pal).

Between this and trying to explain to the wife why you bought more ammo (to save money) come on guys wives aren't that hard to deal with.

Mary, you must not let our secrets out. If you let them out you may not have anyone to compete with on the line. I do buy ammo to save money. I swear!!

Mary;
YOU might not be that hard to deal with, after all you're rational
, you like to shoot guns. When the little brown truck shows up with a case of ammo MY wife can't understand anything. Of course saving $7 on a $50 pair of jeans IS understandable to her, never mind I can buy jeans at K-Mart for $15.
Now if I can just get her to understand that going to another out of state match IS more important than redecorating the bath room.

Dave and Kevin,
First off, if you must wear clothes (which I suppose you do in the colder northern climates) then Salvation Army and Goodwill usually have a good selection, followed by the Marty-marts and of course any good sales. That is why I have Coates Godmother around, to keep up with all the good clothing sales and do minor fittings/adjustments, of course she is the one that made the cheerleader outfit for Winnsboro.
Secondly, Dave I can't emphasis enough that the less time spent in the bathroom the less you need to redecorate, just ask Coates, his bathroom has been in a state of construction/repair for 8 years now. Honestly just convince your wife that if you don't use the same tree too many times in a row, it grows very well.
But spending time shooting with your child is a blast, even if he does beat you occasionally. And who knows maybe lead will be in short supply soon like copper and cost even more, so buy it while it is cheaper.
Remember, Eat, Sleep and Shoot Silhouette.

Amen to that last statement Mary. Speaking of raw materials getting in short supply, China is gobbling up all and anything they can get their greedy little hands on. Lead to make batteries is one of the latest examples of this. Maybe we should send over a team of our most eloquent and distinguished silhouette shooters to show them there are more important things in life (like bullets and ammo) to be made from these materials. Although I would hesitate to try out a box of Chinese made Matchkings. Maybe we could talk the commie regime into starting up the government sponsered Peoples Republic Silhouette Club. And, starting a sister website called Steelducks.com.
