Well, the weather was downgraded overnight to just rain showers. The morning match was overcast with cooler temps and practically no wind. Just at the start of hunter gun it started to rain lightly. It rained lightly for the first two animals then really came down hard for the remainder of the match. It still remained calm with no real wind. The rain stopped just in time for the award ceremony. The sun came out right afterwards. I hope someone will post some pictures of the fantastic trophy's that were awarded.

A big THANK YOU to Ken H., Fred K. and all the behind the scenes crew for making this the best Nationals match I have attended. I will be back. Another big THANK YOU to LAPUA and SIERRA for their very generous donation of .22 ammo, bullets, powder and brass.

Yeah, that was a lame report but I am tired. Gotta get some rest before the start of my 1600 mile trip home in the morning.

Thank you Bob. I was the chief line officer for the smallbore and high power championships. We are glad you enjoyed the Nationals in Ridgway. Of the 7 Natioal Championships I have been chief line officer this was by far the smoothest From The competitors making the line safe quickly, enabling the target setters to go down range. The target setters continued hustle and efficiency resetting the targets. They reset the range in under 4 minutes and in 6 matches had two times when an animal needed to be reset. They continued to hustle during high power. During smallbore we had one alibi and high power only had two alibis, amazing. Thanks to all the line officers, stat officers, scorekeepers , target setters, Match Directors, Kenny, Fred and of course the competitors.
