Replacement for my RWS Model 75

I'm an old smallbore shooter who used to practice indoors with my trusty RWS Model 75 spring gun which I purchased in 1984!

The gun has a estimated 100,000 rounds through er' and has been rebuilt once.......

I think it's going sour again.....

I want to replace it, but I'm retired now and have no money......

I practice indoors at 30' on a resettable Biathon target, hole the size of a dime......

Will any of the $500 - $600 spring gun sporters shoot well enough for that target? I don't wanna mess with compressed air, and I am on a budget!

Air Arms TX200 will. Great gun and very consistant springer.

You can do an internet search to see, but here are a few sites that sell them to get you started;

Randy Bimrose.........

and where is he, pray tell?

One thought I had is that perhaps the light trigger on my air rifle doesn't generalize to my Anschutz 1710. Detrimental...... Will the TX200 trigger allow me to set it up to 2 pounds?

I also have a anschutz 1813 w/ hart barrel which will make the weight in the MacMillan Anschutz Silhouette stock I bought for it, but it is muzzle heavy (big bulb out there!) and I shoot better with the 1710! Thought I might just shot one gun, one trigger -- which is 2 pounds. Can't set my Model 75 up that high.......

True. I was trying to stay the inexpensive route. I love my TX for practice. I turned my trigger down, so I can't tell you how high you can adjust them.

good luck

The AA TX/PS range indeed is very good. As are the Webley Longbow's/Sidewinders

buckmark, Do you have any contact information on Steve Pope of VMach. I'd like to see one of the triggers you talk about. Thanks in advance.

Don't forget the time difference! 8)
On the Daileisure site, there are pics and prices:

Again, thanks, guys..... I sent an email to Mr. Bimrose inquiring about rebuilding my old RWS 75... no response as yet.......

In the meantime, do any of you know about this gun? I read one good review, which said it was of comparable quality to the revered Feinwerkbau 300, first of the match springers. At under $500, it is tempting.......

Just google for 'V-Mach precision trigger blade' and you'll find the site. Or try the homepage of daileasure.
