My local small bore club wants me to put on a paper silhouette match for our Christmas shoot in a couple of weeks. The butts are at 50 meters so I am looking for scaled targets.

The files will print out "Landscape" orientation on a standard US Letter (8.5 X 11 inch) paper using your laser printer or inkjet, etc. They print out one animal per page so there's lots of room to mark your shots or write information/notes in the margins.

I made these paper targets myself by scanning actual targets and processing the image on my computer so, unless the image of the chicken, pig, turkey and ram are somehow copyrighted or trademarked, these targets are totally free. I have electronically protected these files but you shouldn't need the password to print them out.

Any member or guest of SteelChickens.com has my permission to download these files and print them out and use them any way they wish with the provision that you can not charge money for them.
DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH THEM AS LONG AS THEY ARE TOTALLY FREE.

Now, with regard to sizing them for a particular distance:
If somebody would tell me the exact size they want them in decimal inches or millimeters I will resize the targets and repost them.

If you guys want, I'll make up a set with "SteelChickens.com" on them so that you can post them in your archives.

Nice targets. Might be nice to have them as outlines instead of solid black for those who normally shoot at white targets or can't see their scope dots or cowboy rifle sights against the black.

I could make them outlines, 50% grey scale or even a crosshatch pattern.
If you don't mind wasting color ink/toner just to punch holes in paper, I can make them any color you want.

The originals are in Adobe Illustrator format so they are scalable and editable in virtually limitless ways. They can be sized, flipped, rotated, warped and even printed multiple times on one sheet.
(But I like them one per sheet because I can see where the shots went even from far away. Plus I can mark notes and things on them.)

Let me know how you want them. When I get time I'll redo them and label them with the website logo so they can be posted in the archives.

The 100 are two of the same kind to a page, the 50 meter 5 of the same kind to a page and the 25 meter 20 (five of each kind to a page). If any body is interested in them please send me a PM

Each document is a 4 page Adobe Acrobat PDF file. All four animals come in one file. (e.g. All black, all outlined or all scaled, etc.)

Second, I have done my work as carefully as I can and I THINK the scaling is all correct. I simply scaled them according to percentage.
I simply told Adobe Illustrator to scale my original designs to the new percentage. If somebody would double check my work before releasing them into the wild, I would appreciate it.

Finally, I have made the outlines so that the outer edge of the black outline is the outer edge of the "hit zone". (i.e. If a bullet hole touches black it is a hit.)

Oh! I noticed that the original poster wanted targets scaled for meters not feet/yards. If these targets prove satisfactory I can produce another set to the correct scale. Just give me a couple-few day's notice. I have to do these in my off-hours at work.

Yes, it is believed to be a puzzle about a moth or a mayfly that is drawn to the light of a burning fire but it can also describe an activity which a person feels impulsively drawn to. Such as... Oh... I don't know... Silhouette shooting? ;)

Give me a couple of days to get some free time and I'll scale those last two sets of targets to meters. (91.44% if I did my math right.)
