Lol. It’s mighty interesting what we see and heard of how they have landed or spun around.

That trick shot is credited to Wimpy Page at Nationals in Raton.

He split the shot right between the junction of the foot and the rail.The shiny spot on the back of the footpad is the remnant of the bullet.

I was spotting for him and it was pretty funny to watch the chicken lean forward and land on its beak.

Well now, I Am Impressed!!!! That was well thought out and planned with the spotters assistance. That’s mighty Good Shooting!!!!! Lol.
I was spotting for my son at the Southern Nationals and watched the bullet pass clean through the hole in the Ram’s hole and it didn’t even shake any.

That would be, horn !

In my book, that is a hit.

14.4 - Any target that is hit, causing one or both feet to be moved off the stand or pad, and make contact with another supporting surface, but still remain upright, shall be scored as a hit.

Clearly, as shown in the photo, it is off the pad. A hit!
