Arkansas was never as good as they appeared to be at times in the season. Today was an example of a lame duck coaching staff (head coach gone (thank goodness) to Ole Miss and all but one of the asst coaches heading for new jobs on Jan 2nd and a bunch of players who were highly uninspired to beat a pretty good Missouri team.

Houston Nutt's teams have traditionally been better at running their mouth than playing the game. There were a couple of truly talented players there that will be playing on Sunday next year, but the talent level was way below what you typically see in a top shelf SEC team.

No excuses, just an ole fashioned butt whipping by a better coached, better motivivated, and talented team. Congratulations to Missouri.

Don't sell the shirt yet. Better times are ahead for a once proud program.

Kitty,
Sell the shirt???? From a loosing team? I thought you were supposed to bury it deep in a bag to give to Goodwill and hope that they do not go throught the bag before you get out of the donation center, so no one knows where it came from.

As a proud Missouri alumni, I thought the game was excellent! I'm just glad someone else started this post - the Benton Gun Club in Arkansas puts on such superb matches I did not want to hurt their feelings about this football game.....

Do you think it will be okay if I wear my Mizzou Cotton Bowl Champions T-shirt to this year's Midsouth Classic?

Depends....If it's a small, medium, large or Xlarge, probably shouldn't wear it. Now if it's an XXL or XXXL and you fill it up, then by all means, sir, wear it....

Yep.. Auburn had the bragging rights of beating the national champs last year. Arkansas and Kentucky have it this year.

Hmm.. looks to be a pattern here. Last year an SEC team was national champ, and the only team that beat them was another SEC team. This year an SEC team is national champ, and the only two teams to beat them were other SEC teams. Nah.. I'm sure there's nothing to that...

(as Kitty said.. bait bait bait...)

As in Football, Shooting and Life. Sometimes you just have to take a whupping. Don't have to like it, don't get used to it, but take it!
