Eye Blind

I had a business card from Dennis Elliot for Eye Blinds, the folding blinder that remains attached to the ocular bell of the scope. The phone number apparently is out of date. Does anyone know where Dennis is or where I can purchase an Eye Blind?

Most of the gang around here get a pair of $.99 flip-flops and cut it out of them. Do it right and you can get 2 of 'em in designer colors and patterns.

Gator;
Done that....well, almost. We swiped some foam from the action pistol club and made similar ones but they're not as durable as the Eye Blind. I'd kind of like to get a nice permanent blinder. In the mean time I'm always supportive of the action pistol club. I go watch them shoot whenever I get a new shooter in the silhouette club.

I've seen a few of these - they're "legal"?

They're legal but AFAIK, the outfit that was selling them stopped long ago.
You might ask Chuck Deason -- IIRC he had some several years ago at Winnsboro.

Thanks, Limey;
I appreciate the information. An email was sent first thing and a reply is anxiously awaited. This year's training plan is to compensate for my lack of ability with hardware.

Yeah, got any talent for sale?
I emailed Denny and didn't get a response so I called his wife. I hope he appreciates annoying persistence. As noted above they're still selling Eye Blinds. My little foam blinder is getting limp.

A piece of transparent tape on your shooting glasses (left half of left lense)works well too. Can't get much cheeper than that.
