It was clear and windy yesterday, and the temperate went from about 65 to 75 over the course of the morning. There were two full relays with a number of Hunter class pistols.
I was one of three B shooters and shot a 23/60 (6 better than last month, and my first A score
).
I was shooting with my Henry H001T fitted with a new Pedersoli USA-433 creedmore sight.
IMHO, if you're going to use a tang sight, a creedmore-style sight is better for silhouette than a Marbles tang sight because you don't have to rely on counting clicks. The creedmore sight I selected is inexpensive ($60), but has a non-repeatable windage adjustment, and is almost too tall for the gun. I'm considering getting the USA-461 because it has a better elevation vernier as well as a vernier for windage, and is a little shorter than the one I currently have. The only problem is that it's kinda pricey at $200.
