Winnsboro... Best Western... WARNING...

A friend recently told me he called the Best Western in Winnie to give them his updated CC info since it had expired. While on the phone he was told his confirmation number was worthless and they had no reservation for him. He made the reservation last year during the 2007 match.
I also called last year the weekend of the match and reserved a room for this years event. They took my CC info and gave me a confirmation number for my reservation.
Well after my friend told me about his issue I decided I should probably call to make sure my Room is still confirmed. Well I called and its not, they say they have no record of it and that all the rooms are full.
So if you have what you think is a reservation to the Best Western in Winnie for this year you might want to call and make sure it really exists. Had I not called I would have just shown up expecting to have my room.
They gave me a Cust. Ref # for whatever thats worth since my confirmation number was only good for wiping my ass with. They said they will get back to me next week but I don't know what they plan to do if all the rooms are booked.
What a week for NO Customer service. Booked my flight to Jacksonville on American after a major ordeal trying to use gift certificates. I will NEVER fly with them again after this trip. They don't even have a Customer Service Phone number and I think thats says it all.
