the Organizations Im around its more dangerous to not be present! at least if your there you have the option to say NO!

Papa Bear...no problem, just vote no for the one that will try to put you up for a position... as Ernie and Jim K have since found out. Ernie at least has learned to say no to him.

#57, we tried that electing one that was not present...his daughter put him up (she was present), somehow I do not think he really appreciated it.

#57, Yes, he did show up for a while...He lasted about two years before he finally gave up...too many other projects going on with 5 kids, even thought the youngest is 21 now he still spends a lot of time playing with them. The latest project is rebuilding an old boat for duck hunting with the oldest and youngest boys.

But Papabear has already been through the dictator of the state association more than one term, as well as putting up with his controlling style at his own local club. Thus his refusal to accept any positions with the state association.
