hi all
well outback mick come down to tasy to take the croak out of the old
toad.
well when the dust finally settled on the westbury range mick could only smile .
and believe me ladies and gentlemen that is a victory in it's self .
and i believe he paid his noms for the state titles to come back for a
rematch in april . well i look forward to that this is better than filling the
frame with ramslammer dollars . now i must admit mick had cause to
be upset he was loaned a 44 mag from ramslammer who by the way
chickened out and went to the west cost for another honeymoon.
but all should return to normal with him as i hear that he is now down to
the last of his bobby blues ( viagra ). back to mick he stood 4 rams
with the 44 mag and it took me a lot of talking to stop him throwing the
rifle down the range. mick is a man of very few words but the f@$#2.c#$# b#$%# that come out of him even had me worried.

Fair dinkum you buggers in Tassie would stitch up the Pope. What was Mick thinking using a borrowed gun from one of you lot. Unless it was sharing the same gun & ammo I wouldn't trust you, and then I would be sus .
By the way what was the score?

Hi All
What a low thing to do let Outback Mick test your trailboss loads, I hope they were not pistol cartridge rams that stood.
Mick you should have known not to trust Ramslammer.
Toad I picked up my marlin 32/20 yesterday came with dies cases projectiles and some ammo at a good price (no I didn't have a mask on).

Good Afternoon All,
Having returned successfully from "Juddyland" ie Tasmania, I can now sit down and drop my guard a little as being on the same small island as Ramslammer and the Toad can at times be a little stressful. Lest face it, it's hard work watching your front & back at the same time!
Despite the many adversities I came back reasonably unscathed. Many thanks to Ramslammer for letting me borrow his 1894 Marlin 44 Mag. Of course if he had told me Westbury shot all three matches I could have easily slipped in my .375 and not had the mongrel, bell ringing, Ram standing coot of a time that I did. Just goes to show you, pretty gear does not make good gear, although that is obvious if you have the displeasure of seeing Ramslammer up close, meaning closer than 800m. (In truth that would apply to all the brotherhood.)
Thankyou to the Toad for getting me safely to Westbury and back. Similar to Hire Cars, driving someone elses bus always means a quick & lively trip.....I believe Toad also shot a PB that Saturday, however Toad wasn't game to put some dosh down on the outcome.
For Daisy's information - SB was 34 - Pistol was 35 & Rifle went out the window early in the match. (I'm sure the Toad will be happy to tell you how well he shot, I'm surprised he hasn't let on already.)
I can't see me getting down again for April, pity as Wayne and the boys at Westbury are a good bunch with good facilities and I look forward to shooting there again in the near future.
Now all I have to do is put up with the ex pom as we get stuck into some serious shooting in preparation for the US in June/July
Regards to all,
Outback Mick

Daisy everyone who is important has already nominated for the cowboy nationals ie me, outback, bear, bugle, taps, TFS, mud and your good self. This just leaves or great leader and a whole bunch of ramslammers to nominate but as time goes on i'm just thinking how much extra money i'll be able to extort from them for not nominating before the end of month.

hi all
now i must admit with no one there to see fair play i did not put up any dosh but that will be forth coming
at the next shoot that we are at.
now the reason i did not put up any scores is that self praise is no recomendation .but you will be happy to know that i
shot a very good rim of 27 and that girls and boys was with only three turkeys .
now pistol i shot a pb of 35 9 chicks 10 pigs 7 turkeys and 9 rams not to shabby for a old toad like me.
but i must admit that the pace took a toll on me and i piked out in the heavy rifle.but mick did shot rather well
with the borrowed 44 mag from ramstander err slip of the tounge ramslammer . now i am sitting back waiting
to be admitted to hospital so look out when i come out with my new arse and a full body of blood .
i will be looking to fill my empty frame with some ramslammer dollars.
regards toad

Toad, hope all goes well. We'll be thinking about you and let us know when you get out.
Be careful in what you say though…while your recuperating you may not be able to carry your guns to the match and may have to ‘borrow’ some of the Ramslammers as not to lug around yours while you get better.

Now I'm sure Juddy would love that turn of events

Hi All
Toad you shouldn't pick on the Ex Pom he's been busy making bullet molds for outback mick and myself, Only took a week for mine and outback mick had his in about 2 hours. You should know any thing for cowboy is more important than scoped rifles.
