I had sent in a new Bushnell 4200 8x32 to have a 1/2 MOA dot installed- and after 5 weeks got it back with a note that they have discontinued the Custom Reticle Program. I called and talked with customer service, and the person I talked with needed to talk with someone else to confirm what I was telling her was true. They still have it listed on their website- and they mentioned that it was in this years catalog.

The discontinuation appears to be something which has come up in the past 2 weeks- and from some comments they may bring it back.

I have contacted the T K Lee Co- and they install dots on this scope-so the scope will go to them.

In my experience, Bushnell's custom shop was unprofessional, and pretty sloppy in their work. They damaged one scope by shipping with no padding-twice, and another scope, they put a 1 MOA dot in when they were told a 1/2 moa dot. They said they never did a 1 moa dot ever, but the dot covers exactly 1 inch on 32X at 100 yards, just like my 1/2 moa's cover 1/2 inch. I will say that I like the 1 moa dot better anyhow. I think it may be better to use TK Lee anyway.
