Trouble with Sinclair Intl....

I think I need to join a support group or something. I've only gotten one catalog and I've already placed a couple orders. I'm even secretly planning out future orders to try to get all the stuff I want without having any single purchases large enough to catch my wife's attention. The last order was fairly sizable and didn't even contain any dies or components. This is going to be trouble, for sure... :roll: 8)

Safest bet is to burn the catalog and block the URL... nothing else works believe me... :)]
Oh look.... UPS is here now :D

Nope, and don't plan to. I've got a few more Sinclair purchases planned, as well as considering a Jackson 2-stage trigger and an RTS stock for the rifle to get it set up like my 1712 that I shoot in smallbore. I'm justifying it by selling one of my hunting rifles because I'm going to do some hunting with this rifle. After the state match at the end of August, the Weaverf T24 will be coming off and a 4-12X scope will be going on. :mrgreen:

Jason, The first step is to realize that not everything in life if fair, you chose to pull the trigger and ya got addicted didn't you? My name is Jim and I'm a powder burning junkie! There is only one cure. Only the dead have seen the last range, the last round, the last silhouette!

Jason maybe next time you'll sell it off quickly to the first or second offer.

Jason,
Will you be putting the Weaver up for sale? I'm looking to upgrade from a cheap BSA I'm using now to something with higher quality - I've learned my lesson from buying cheap!

Nope. That's the last of our highpower silhouette matches for the year, so after that I'm going to actually use my silhouette rifle for hunting. I don't have any other highpower rifles that come anywhere close to that rifle in quality or accuracy, nor any that I shoot as well. After hunting season, and well before the first match for next year, the T24 will be going back on the rifle.

Jason;

Give the Nosler Accubonds a try. I used RL15 and the Accubonds in the 6.5-250 (260Bobcat) last fall for antelope. Accurate and strong enough for hunting. I've been told that SMKs work for deer hunting but the one I tried at <100 yrds blew up like a bomb. It would work on lung shots but I'd be worried about rear quartering shots through a gut full of pasture. Antelope are lightly built but the Accubond broke the shoulder and two vertebrae. It's my first choice.

By the way, good idea on the scope. Target dots and fine cross hairs might work on an open range but their damn hard to see in the forest. When you get your deer or elk or what ever, let us know.

Put a new barrel on my HPHR, got in on steel on Friday, shot 100 rds of Sporting Clays on Saturday, shot the HP Silhouette match at Ben Avery on Sunday, feel like I was cheated on SB, so I am headed to the range before work to put a few down range. The process of burning powder continues!

Gentlemen;
Let me assure you that Sinclair is a first class operation. Not only do I know them , but I shoot with them as well , and have done so for 11 yrs. Our shooting is GROUP shooting. Nope...I don't work for them. I am a one man shop who makes cartridge boxes/blocks for most any endeavor. You may find me on this thread.

AJJ...Alston Jennings? Thank you.

I think you missed my joke in this thread. My point wasn't that they were anything less than first class. My trouble was that they're going to cause me to spend too much money, and get in trouble with my wife. :D
