OK, where do I get a 5 round loading block with the timer cut out?
Spotter cards?
Data book?

Any ideas?

All the blocks I have seen were home made. There are very few people that use the blocks now. Its just one more piece of stuff you have to haul around. It seems like my pile gets bigger every year.

I resemble that remark! Old habits die hard, and although I like the simplicity of silhouette, I dropped a round during my string last weekend. If it had been in a block I doubt I would have rolled it off the bench! I also cant read my timer unless it is on some type of angle, so I'm going to need something to wedge itup anyway... thay might as well hold my ammo too.

Most folks make their own... quick project in the shop

No buwanna juju...........I need a new one too...but have not seen anything either that really works so I am going the usuall route home made,,thats for the plot boards anyways...I did see a combo load block with a clock cut out made by MTM but it holds a lot of rounds...you will need a gun bearer to haul that around too.....

Paul Freeman (stsbuyer here on SC) makes some nice spotter boards...

Well...We must see his handy work...I will keep my hands off the router..I am sure his work is going to be better than mine...I am lousy at wood work.

Maybe it's jusy me but I hate to buy anything if I can make it myself.

I'm sure they're easy to make.

The block Joe made up for me is excellent. Once I figure out PhotoBucket I'll post some pictures, but in summary there are 5 holes for .260 cases, 5 .22 lr holes, and a slot bigger than an Eley box. I stand my timer in the slot so I can see it on an angle, but it also holds my hunter class rifle magazines too.

Well made and fitted to your caliber==6mmBR blocks have holes for their exact case length, instead of falling into the .260 depth holes. Joe is a craftsman and refuses to make a "one size fits all" product.

My loading blocks from Joe Maisto arrived today...Excellent quality, well made and well thought out. Joe was very pleasant to deal with on the phone, made these to my specifications, even stamped my name on the bottom...he gets the "Kitty seal of approval" for excellence in product and delivery...Here's a pic (cell phone, so not the best quality) of the top and bottom views..note the little white "feet" on the bottom...nice touch.
