Ramslammer turns on the Taps

Ahhhhh, envy  does things to a man. After visiting the Outback Oasis and Game Ranch, a certain goat wrangler has gone all out. The allure of our inground facility in it's natural surroundings must have been too much and he has converted his ground floor flat (or should that be apartment) into an indoor pool. He has his floaties inflated and is ready for a dip. Wonder if he has cocktails with those little umbrellas in them to sip poolside. =)) :ymapplause: :D

I rang him yesterday and the ex-girlfriend answered the phone and I thought I had a very bad line but it was the noise of the pump. Was told that there was a bit of a flood, so I said I would call back later. Today I told the Chairman that there was a bit of a post on his flood on steelchickens . He said he would be able to check it on his computer as it was down in the pool room. No doubt he will view it some how.

When I spoke to the fat chariman, he said that he did't think there was much of a problem until an ice cream container of .222 cases floated past him. This is was happens when you live in the stupid state we call Tasmania. None of us main land people have this problem with rain.

Hey Rob,

Lucky the Chairman's downstairs isn't your own, otherwise you would have turned it into a little hot jacuzzi with your other ADF's :ymparty: \:D/

That sucks Ramslammer. Hope you have one hell of a dehumidifier in that cabinet otherwise you'll have a whole lot of rusty fence droppers. But hope the damage isn't too bad. More rain to come by the sounds of it and a lot of oiling of shooting irons.

See you guys soon in the rain drenched state.

G'Day Doc
About time you resurfaced! Sorry I forgot your email :ymblushing: . Anyway when will you be returning to Tas? It will be good to have you back. Now what guns do you want so we can start looking for you? We are still shooting every Tuesday night plus Cowboy some times twice a month. Also constant trips over the Strait to steal prizes of the Fat Selector etc. Keep in touch
Juddy
The Chairman has spoken!

Good to hear you are back online Juddy, was a little worried you may have drowned down stairs holding onto an arm full of rusty bang sticks. Will be back in Tassie in 2 weeks, living up north to start out for a while but planning to trip south for the weekend shoots hopefully each month. Looking to get seriously back into shooting properly this time. Going to be in Tas for a lot longer this time so I plan on buying some good toys. I have a few expenses up first like buying a decent car but then it's toy shopping again.

What am I looking for..
PCP Air rifle-thinking Steyr LG110HP but will see what's around (#$%6ing priced one with Potter yesterday, price went up by $400 today-can you say I'm pissed! ). They have over $500 mark up on them compared to retail prices here.
Anschutz/Sako rim: Silhouette gun, pricing a 1712 at the moment if they ever get back to me.
O/U for clays: Cause it's kind of fun.
Centre for silhouette/deer, but cowboy might be fun.

Too many things to buy, not enough $$ yet to get it all. Will start with the air rifle I think and go from there. I've been personally bailing out the US economy for the last two years working my ass off for no reward. Up for parole in 2 weeks and I'm skipping the country.

Look forward to catching up mate.
Cheers, JD

Yet another sad day folks.....I'm back!!!!

Perhaps the Chairman should go bush with me, camels might be easier for him to get hold of?? At least he won't get into trouble for not getting the rope!

It also seems I have something in common with the Chairman, apart from good Marlins (yes it does pain me to say that in public, shudder). Only a week ago coming out of the desert we were travelling through water that at least once got up over the bonnet. We had a bit of rain. Being in a Land Rover it instantly follows that I was then wet as well, damn poms (yes you can carry that through in any direction you wish to take it....).

Anyway back home now for a while. I may find time to grace this fair institution, we will see.

Regards,
Outback Mick
