Santa came early to Shakes house this year. Got the call from Mr.Wooster (santas little helper) that my standard highpower would be ready for me to pick up at the annuall PeEll Turkey Shoot. Its the sunday after turkey day , hence the name, and all the proceeds go to the high school. Back to the rifle, standard issue rem 700 with a Pac-Nor 3 groove barrel that sits at about .915 in diameter all the way untill the chamber, a C.G. Jackson two stage trigger, Weaver 24X scope, and one of Steve Woosters best looking stocks hes ever made. Carbon fiber with a burnt orange paint job, but the trickest (or sickest, whoa dude) thing is you can still see the carbon weave in spots, then covered by a layer of clear. I will see if I cant get some pics posted in the next week or two(funny how the work computer wont let me post pics ). I know some of you guys are chomping at the bit to see what a Wooster stock looks like. A shout out goes to the Marvelous Mr. Marvin for the work he did as well, this thing is a tack driver, can consistantly hit the 6 inch dia plate at 500 meters, and hold a minute at pigs. I thinks I'll be a happy camper this silhouette season.

Yeah, that's the problem with these great rifles - you know who to blame for a miss...

Bob, I think the real bitterness is yet to come, if the BS (or BCS) matches up the Gators and the Tide in the championship game! Pardon me maybe the bitterness will be this Saturday then!

Tide vs Gators is this Saturday. After that game, one of them will have a loss and probably won't be put into the national championship game.

Now Jason what makes you think the Tide is going to loose?

Should be a good game...It's always hard to be a quality team twice in the same season....Bama has a solid run game and a solid defense...sounds like a broken record, but if you can get to Tebow and keep Florida in 2nd and 3rd and long all afternoon they are very beatable....2nd and 3rd and short gives them too many options....At the risk of stirring up a hornets next of non SEC folks, this game is going to make the BCS National Championship Game a little anti climactic....
