Chicken hangers?

How did you hang the chickens to keep them from turning? They're so small, it's hard to weld a chain to two points where they face you without turning sideways.
Got pics?

How abut welding the back to the edge of a piece of flat steel straight up the middle. Then after an inch or so above the chicken, weld the flat to a short piece of angle. Then weld your chain to the ends of the angle.

How about a set like this if you looking for smallbore swingers.

Those look nice, but I was trying to keep my cost down, I already have the cut-outs, and the chain
I hate to have anything that sticks above the animal, don't need extra target area.

I don't use a chain. I use a piece of cold rolled, 1/16 thick X 3/4 X 6 inches (or so??) steel. Drill a 11/16 inch hole in one end of the steel "strap". Weld to the back of the chicken so that the edge is facing the shooter and the hole drilled in the "strap" is about 4 inches or so above the chicken's back. Slip the hole over a 5/8 inch hanger made of round cold rolled stock.
