Places to eat in Winnsboro

Lots of meals are provided at the range during the Southern Nationals but I want to know about other places people have eaten in Winnsboro. Winnsboro has most of the usual fast food chains. The Chinese buffet next to Jerry's Drug store downtown is not great but good and inexpensive. I also like the Steak Fajitas at the Mexican restaurant in the Best Western parking lot. We try to shoot every monthly at Winnsboro but usually do not have the time to eat anywhere because we need to get back home.

What about Brown's Seafood south of the range? Has anyone eaten there? Any other suggestions for food in Winnsboro?

The thing I like about Winnsboro is that it is small enough that there should never be a traffic problem but large enough it has a Super-Walmart.

Bobby,

Brown's is pretty good...Steaks, etc are decent....they do, like a lot of small town eateries, get a bit overwhelmed when large crowds drop in without someone giving them a call.

Big Johns is good. Really great biscuits and burgers. It's right next to Jesse's. Or go farther south of Browns and go to RV's.

The Mexican place at the Best Western has been hit and miss over the years.

Bobbie's is good too.
