Went to the gun show today to try to find my first target rifle. No rifle, but I did end up with my first scope. A leupold VX III 6.5-20 x40 E.F.R., used but in great shape for a WHOPPING $300.00








The only thing I'm not sure about is the "air rifle" part? What y'all think?

Shawn, you did great. SCORE!!!!! is an understatement. This is a scope you will see on many rifles at many different kinds of Silhouette Matchs. Do not worry about the Air Rifle Part. It will work great and focus for everything from less than 10 meters indoors out to infinity. You got it for less than half of what it should have sold for. It has a Lifetime Warranty for whoever possesses it not just the original owner. The glass is excellent and it has 1/4 MOA clicks. If you desire to have a Dot in the future, the Leupold Custom shop can change the reticle for you very inexpensively. I, Lone Ringer and many others like the Leupold tapered crosshairs to Dot reticle. Shoot it for a long time before deciding on Dot Size if you go that route. I could not have passed that deal up. I would send that scope to Leupold tomorrow and have a dot installed and get it checked out for tracking. Because once you get a rifle to put it on you won't want to stop shooting!

Thats a steal at a show. Usually they charge prices that are insane. I got a deal on my Anschutz 54MS LH like that. I paid $525 out the door. I don't think he knew what he had.
