Wind = No Power

Day 7 with no power. Wind seems to have blown away the Emporer's new clothes...

Pipes are freezing. Kids are blue. We ate the smaller dog and the bigger mutt is eyeing us suspiciously.

Place is starting to look like Katrina. Plywood signs begging for someone to turn on the Power. The meth-heads are roaming the mailboxes looking for anything of value. Half the house fires are from people bringing fires inside - the other half are tweakers having to cook up some personal fixes.

Have to go to work to get some Internet... I think that's a sign of the Apocalypse, isn't it?

May not be the sign of the apocalypse, but it is a sure reminder as to why no one should have to live in such conditions.....Much further north than Bella Vista Arkansas is too far....As far as the meth heads roaming the neighborhood, I think Dawg (who rode out Katrina and her relatives) can give you a few hints on making your house safe.....Good luck, stay warm, and stay safe.

Ugh.. didn't think you'd be in the "dead zone" without power still living that far south. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help, Mike.

Surefire krypton light ....100 dollars
Short barreled 12ga shotgun......300 dollars

Watching four looters pee thier pants................PRICELESS

mordecai,
Feel your pain 16 days for me after Katrina, but then again that was summer.
