I have 2 new shooters- my grand kids. They are 10 and 8. Having a blast teaching them to shoot, chose to go with scopes. They are lovin' my swinging silhouette targets. Killing my range/match time, every Sat night I've gotten the call, can we shoot tomorrow? (That is a small price to get them shooting)

Today we ran through 300 rounds, so I am looking for an inexpensive .22 to keep them going. Only shooting 25 yards now, so I do not need 10X

Any leads on someone having stuf on sale, or just a good price?

I like CCI Standard Velocity at Dick's Sporting Goods for $24.99 a brick.

If you were in Tulsa it's going for $15.95/500 for cci blazers and federal copper jackets at shooters world I dont know of any online sites.

Chuck, I usually watch all the typical places like Dicks, Bass Pro, Wal Mart, Midway. Midsouth for closeouts. Careful with the jacketed and the higher velocity stuff as it will tear up even the swingers...but then the chance to enjoy bringing kids into the sport is worth a lot.

Federal 510 $1.49 box Walmart.

Watch your ammo velocity on smallbore targets. Federal 510 is a little fast and will tear up the targets.

hey Chuck,

federal automatch is the same speed at 519 and shoot pretty good, even better if you apply some lube, availible at wall mart pretty cheap.
