I have taken the plunge to high power and my gun should be done soon. I shot it A little before it was all done and it really likes 120's. So my question is what loads are you using with the 120 and 140. I used some RL-15 that seemed to work well but I thought it mite be A little hot for silhouette (37 grains). Mike, 120's are Ok for chickens and pigs but if you are shooting turkeys in windy conditions like we do in the south western states would be better if you use bullets with better ballistic coefficient like 107-108-123-139-140-142. 37 gr as you know is a bit hot in that caliber a lot of shooters that I know use 36 gr of Varget or if you use slower burning powders like h4350 you can use 39-40 with any bullet weight.

In the 6.5X47 Lapua and 260 I use a fast burning powders like the VV N130-133-135 or Benchmark and a 123 Lapua bullets for the first three distances and slower burning powders like VV N150 or H4350 with139-144 Lapua bullets for the rams.

Here are the loads that work for me using Varget in my 6.5 x 47. I started lower and worked up to them. Use at your own risk.
