Want to give y’all a “heads-up” for the Smallbore Rifle & Hunting Rifle Silhouette activities of the balance of 2012. Regular monthly matches will be held on Saturdays - 21 July, 18 August and the Tennessee State Smallbore Rifle & Hunting Rifle Silhouette Championships will be Saturday, 29 September. Monthly matches will also be held on Sunday, 21 October and Saturday 17 November. That will conclude the fun for ’12.

Granny Clingan has spent last winter with the help of several of the Chattanooga Rifle Club members, spit-shinin’ the range for us. The State Championship format will be the same as the last six. If it’s workin’, don’t fix it. We did, however move to September to see how the weather is that month. We have fried at five matches in August and liketa froze our buns off last year in October.

Rumor has it we may be giving a fairly cool door prize, but the final decision will most probably come a little later. Guess ya gotta be there to find out.

Hey Gator I would shoot everyday but my wife has convinced me that I'd better pay the mortgage or there will be no shooting, OK she wins on this one, it's called give and take.... I will be there on Friday early for the STATE shoot......can't wait!!!!

OK guys lets get in gear and go to the Tenn. Statw Shoot, I can't wait, because I can't shoot the next two here at the house I'm getting "pumped" about the Tenn State shoot. It's 230-250 miles away for me but it will be awesome and Jacksonville in January.....is it time to shoot yet???? Anxious in NC!!!!

Gator your hurting me....I can't wait, I shot 200 rounds today and wanted to shoot more but the range was closing. I shouldn't be wishing my life away but Sept 29th hurry!!!

NOPE had to work, it sure gets in the way of my shooting!!! Anyway, I"m at all the Piedmont and Asheville shoots I can be at, will be at the October shoot and Tennessee State shoot hope to see you there......

Two weeks away, by this time I would have sighted my rifle in and be ready for Saturday's shooting, Gator NorthStar and I will be there......

Well this will be the first time since Gator started hosting this match that I have missed it. It falls at the one time of year that I really have to work! Great match, fantastic desserts and I am sending my son to keep jjp from winning 2 years in a row...LOL
I hope to make it to the CO states on the same day, if the weather cooperates and I can get the day off.
