Not the best stand for silhouette but you could easily sell it and get a good used Manfrotto tripod off ebay and even recoup some money. At least that is what I did with mine.

The buy it now isn't all that bad really. I assume the reserve is somewhere between the starting amount and the buy it now price. That is a $200 stand and over $1000 worth of spotting scope.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to keep an eye on this. Was hoping to find some glass in Raton but this might just be the ticket.
