Hey guys, I need some bottom metal/action screws for my 1712 build. It is just sitting at the gunsmith's shop waiting for it so that he can do the inlet for the metal. I emailed Mark Pharr about gettin one of his pieces, but he said he doesn't know when the next batch will be ready. Does anyone else have bottom metal for sale that allows the mag to be flush with the bottom of the stock? New or used, square or round, it doesn't matter to me.

It ain't the bottom metal that makes the bottom of the mag even with the bottom of the stock. It is the depth of the stock that determines that. I don't know if that helps you or not. You may have to extend the bottom of your mag, bepending on who's stock you are using.

I just sold the last one I had. I am pretty sure that Marvin Pearson ( steelhead, metalhead ) may still have some available.
I have an order for 10, but it may be a couple of months before I get them.
Evelio.
