NEW Junior Annie

We have a new club member that has joined us the past couple weeks and has a 2013 book. He had called me to ask if his 10 year old daughter could shoot with us and I said we would be happy to have HER along with us. We let her use one of our club Cub Savage rifles with a cheap scope sighted for 40 meters, last Thursday eve. She shot right along with us off both benches with her dad by her side. She got a Turkey, a Ram and did well on the Chickens. Don't remember on the Pigs.
When we were done, I told her father I would get my Youth Savage rifle with better scope for her to use in the future. I got it sighted in yesterday at the 4 distances and e mailed him to say the rifle was all set and is in a PINK bag with a brick of ammo. I also have a carrying bag for her to put things in.....Jr. headphones are in there along with junior safety glasses, ammo, and she can put anything else she wants into it. I think she will be surprised this Thursday seeing her rifle in a pink bag and her own personal carrying bag. I have to remember to tell her that if she shoots 5 or 10 in a row, we give a pin for that accomplishment.
Myself, I am tickled to death to have put something together for her. Her dad did say she really had a good time. Cute!
