Hi guys and gals! I have a friend that's a big Ruger semi-auto fan and is considering getting into silhouette. He's seen the new Ruger American Rimfire and is considering buying one of these as an entry level rifle just to get his feet wet. He's asked me what I think and I've told him that it's basically a low cost entry level rifle blah blah blah. My concern is the stock. Will this stock, with it's interchangeable stock modules, be legal for Hunter class? What do you guys think?

(c) Stock: a hunting style stock. Attachments, either removable or permanent, are not permitted. Swivels and slings are permitted, but slings may not be used for arm support in shooting

Once the stock is screwed on it is "permanent" and non-adjustable. It's really no different than being able to unscrew your butt plate and putting on a different one. Those are removable, but it's not an attachment. I just called my local shop and they have some in. Gonna go buy one as soon as I finish my lunch.
