Here are the entry forms for both matches as well as the Party. If you want to win any of the great items that our sponsors have donated, you must enter the Party regardless of whether you are shooting in the matches or just attending for the fun of the Absolute Last Party. Everyone must enter the Party to attend as even the non-shooting guests will be eligible for the prizes. Simply put, if you are on the property you must enter the Party to partake of the food, beverages and door prizes. At $75/person, it is the bargain of the Century as you will probably win at least that much in value of prizes not to mention the food and drink and visiting with the assembled hoard of died-in-the-wool shooters and their families!

Everyone please note that on the Air Rifle entry form it says that lunch will be provided to competitors on both Thursday and Friday. That statement is left over from when the air rifle event was two days. Its one day now (Friday only) and lunch is therefore served only on Friday.

Also, the smallbore match registration is limited to the first 120 shooters that register so get your registration in ASAP!!!

Back to the top for those who have contacted me looking for entry forms. We still have room but dont wait around because we expect the 120 slots will fill up.
Its going to be an awesome match. June 6 (air rifle) & 7-8 (smallbore). Probably about 72 degrees with no wind (give or take a little of course).

I sent my entry forms out a few days ago. Now I just have to find a hotel. Any ideas?

Have you guys called the hotels in Winnsboro? There is a Chase and a Best Western I believe.

Google lists three in the town, it's not so much the problem of finding a hotel as it is finding a hotel somebody has some experience with.
Embers Motor Inn appears to be within walking distance (.4 Mi) of the 204 FAIR AVENUE address but if I'm going to have to fight rodents and roaches for a share of the covers each night I might opt for the slightly further best Western (1.8 Mi). Having never been to the Winnsboro I was hoping that perhaps some of the experienced participants might make a recommendation of where to stay or provide a warning of places to avoid.
As a new participant it helps too if I stay at a hotel where other competitors are staying. Having a Southern Nationals veteran handy to field questions and get a noob pointed in the right direction is a huge help.

Embers isn't bad. Don't remember leaving with anything I didn't bring. Chase is good, maybe a grade or two up. That's where some of us stay. Have not tried BW. You have to keep in mind your not in Dallas, I don't think any of the afore mentioned have bridal sweets.

We stayed at the BW and it was good. Stieger had his clan there as well.

They have that many rooms? Probably no vacuncy now. In the past if you where lucky enought to find a room anywhere, you better get it. Most of the time if you didn't make your reservations the year before, you were SOL. It's always a good idea to call in advance even with reservations, mine got lost along the way somewhere. Maybe that's a hint.
