Well I am not sure what more you could ask for at the 2014 Southern Nationals Match and Party David, Jerry and Dustin have about as much fun packed into a weekend as could be, but......

How about a good old TURKEY SHOOT! Now I know that some of us have disagreements with those dang things when they are out on the rail, so what I am giving you is a chance to finally do what you have always wanted to do.... Use a shotgun!!!

So here are the details:
Its free to shoot.
I am going to have ammo, targets and David and Jerry are going to help me with the target stands.
One little twist..Since I am a Product Manager for Franchi I am bringing the gun!
Everyone shoots the one gun. I will get a list of names of all party attendees and mark you off as you shoot!
Contest will be open Friday and Saturday (hours TBD) with winner being announced at lunch break on Sunday.

Now you are all wondering what you win right?

How about the gun you shot!! It is a Franchi Intensity 12ga 3.5" chamber Inertia driven Semi-auto Synthetic Black. Actually at the request of David you will get a certificate that you mail to me with your local FFL and I'll ship it to you.

If you have any questions please let me know!

Side note scoring of targets cannot be influenced, but you can try all you want with beer and gumbo!

What a great game for a great prize, thanks Dan!!

Everyone please remember, if you want to enjoy a great weekend and have a chance at this and other great prizes (and take down some ridiculous food and drink), all you have to do is sign up for the party and show up. BUT, if you want to shoot the greatest smallbore silhouette match in the world while you're there, you MUST be one of the first 120 shooters to send in your registration! The first 120 registrations that show up in the mailbox will get in. The rest will be sent back. If registration fills up, I'll put a note here on Steelchickens.

Also, in answer to another question I received this weekend, if you are coming to the party but not planning to shoot or if you don't get into the match but decide to come to the party anyway, bring your rifle! You're still eligible for the Coon Ass Team Shoot and any other shooting games that may pop up over the weekend.

That would be good. 10 turkeys at 70 Meters. How many can be knocked down by a shotgun??? That is probably not the way the game will be played but a fun thought.
Thanks Dan
