We have less than two weeks to the Last Party and I want to bring everyone up to date on the prizes and especially for the Cooking Contest.

We are getting all the usual great door prizes from out National and local sponsors.

The Cooking Contest will be special this year as this is the LAST Party! In each of the five divisions we will give out the following prizes:

CHILI - $25 Gift Basket from Every Occasion, Tony Chachere's Cookbook and $50 CASH Award
GUMBO - $25 Gift Basket from Every Occasion, Tony Chachere's Cookbook and $50 CASH Award
RIBS - $25 Gift Basket from Every Occasion, Tony Chachere's Cookbook and $50 CASH Award
DESSERT - $25 Gift Basket from Every Occasion, Tony Chachere's Cookbook and $50 CASH Award
MIXED DRINKS - $25 Gift Basket from Every Occasion, Tony Chachere's Cookbook and $50 CASH Award

The entry is free for all individuals or teams as Winnsboro Gun Club is furnishing the cups, saucers and bowls as well as the utensils so that everyone can enjoy the food that is prepared. We ask each entrant to prepare enough food to share. We had a lot of food last year and it was superb!

If you are entering, please email me or Robin so that we can be prepared for our judges to not eat or drink for at least 24 hours before they are forced to partake of the entries! If there are enough competitors from Texas that want to have a Tamale division, please let me know if you are bringing them for the contest and we will have the same award for that division! Why not go out in style?!!!

As a last note, Jerry and I want to say, You can't drink all day unless you start in the morning!
