Thanks to everyone who attended the 2014 Southern Nationals. We had great weather, nice and cool, and great food, drink and shooting. The only down side to the entire weekend was watching poor Elisabeth Steiger struggle. It's obvious that the sweet little girl REALLY wants to be good at this game but she just doesn't have it. I hope Pat will finally sit her down and break it to her that she needs to focus on something else so that she can maybe have some success.

Hayley, 18 Elisabeth, 20 and Mallory, 15 were the first 3 in Hunting Rifle at Winni 2014

Thanks Dustin, Ducky and Jerry and all the people who made this happen. I propose a new rule for silhouette. You must have a Y chromosome to compete, AND you must be over 21.

We are not giving a "High Lady" award next year. It is completely redundant!

We can't even give a "High Steiger" award, it's redundant too. Maybe we will give a "High Steiger Named Pat" award next year?

I'm a double member as I have a " My daughter beat Dustin Flint" shirt as well. =)) I think I'll just place a large order....say 500 and pass them out like Grand Slam awards.......we will probably number them.........they might last a year or so.

Honestly, it's amazing you could even shoot and run the match. I am truly impressed you did as well as you did with the responsibility of all that you did. As part of the Pack mule/ATM club I salute you. You were clean going into chickens on the first standard rifle match, unbelievable with what you'd done already. You set an impossibly high standard. I wear my IBDF shirt with pride. :D

Thanks Pat. The wheels came off on Sunday. I got through my first 10 shots okay but once I moved to the next target I knew it was over. Struggled for the rest of the day… Once the blood is in the water, those little female Master-class sharks start taking bites out of you!

Dustin, you held up well against those fine young ladies, but you should learn now before your daughter gets any older....don't try to whip on a pair or more of females.
