I am new to the forum, so if I am posting in the wrong place, I apologize. I am looking to purchase a McMillan Silhouette Thumbhole Stock, such as the one posted in the link below. The challenge is that McMillan stopped making the stock in 2012 and they don't have any in inventory. It would be for a 54.18 out of a 1712. Any ideas where I may be able to find one or if anyone has one they want to part with.

Thanks for any feedback in advance.

Just a heads-up before you waste a bunch of money trying this experiment. The inletting for a 1712 barreled action is completely different than that of a 54:18 barreled action; so you won't be able to drop your 1712 barreled action into the stock if it has been inletted.
Also, a 54 match action (1712) and a 54 super-match action (54.18) and their respective triggers are two different animals.
Please ignore this if I read your post wrong but it looks like you're trying to Make a 54.18 out of a 1712 and I think you're going to be disappointed.

In addition to what Dustin said, you will also have a very light standard class gun. One advantage I find with my standard gun over my 1712 is the1.5 lbs of additional weight for stability
