Marco held steady! Tony Tello won the standard HP by 1 point to Marco and Mary's 27. Hunter HP was a tad warmer being in the afternoon, there was some grumbling about the heat but I think it was just coming from the fantastic food being cooked and served by Billy W and crew on Saturday evening, along with plenty of beer to cool off the spicy Guac. Smallbore on Sunday started out with Tony kicking us all again, and followed with Kathleen Garvin topping the scoreboard in the hunter gun in the afternoon. Heard that there were 53 shooters for HP, although I didn't take the time to count, I was too busy enjoying seeing all the old friends and meeting new friends.
There were some great door prizes with rumors that Bob259 would have to ride home strapped to the roof rack as Joy won a pop-up tent. The range was in great shape thank to Ronny C, Billy W. Manny and all the other guys out there doing last minute adjustments due to some local rains the week before. Thanks to Frank C and his stat office for keeping the match running smoothly and the scores were up quickly. Great match and I'm glad I didn't win that big four gun trophy, I would never have gotten it home! Beautiful trophies, my three are already moving my recent national awards to the attic boxes.
Congrats to Marco and I'm already looking forward to next years bigger and better match, that honors one of silhouettes finest, you would be pleased with this match Roger, your students are doing well in carrying your legacy!
Mary

Wow Mary!!! I like ur choice of words giving the reader almost a real time experience of being there. Just want to give kudos to an icon like urself. I just want to say that it is enjoyable watching you shoot as you take your time, very precise in placing your shot, and the reward is watching that target go down hard with a center mass shot. Ur a true champion, and just want to say thanks for being a great part of the sport many of us dream being good at!
Sincerely,
Gerry Hernandez
