is the old Burris Fullfield really inferior to Leupold?

Is the old made in America Burris Fullfield scopes inferior products compared to a new Leupold VX-2? I am thinking comparable magnification power.

In my opinion "Inferior" no, Heavier yes.

The original Fullfield scope by Burris are as fine a affordable line od scope made, but they are heavy and little harder to mount because of the turret placement.
