Too true. Locking guns up is sensible because of their value and the likelihood of a burglary but I know better than to trust the government with registration information. I figure 1/3 of the people are opposed to registration, 1/3 naively or hysterically support it and 1/3 support it for there own reasons.

Registration combined with the GPS tracking of our homes that they just completed and presto they know where to find the stuff....
