Forgot the side match between Ducky and the Mad Cuban......Think you should take the average of your ages and divide by two...loser buys the winner a bottle of single malt that age....If they make it that old...

True enough George: I've spent my life playing Devil's advocate so it's hard to tell what I believe just from the questions. I was raised on debate, Academia encourages it, and I forget to curb it sometimes.

Mary: In her speeches Palin is tightly controlled, prepared, rehearsed and on message and makes a good counter balance to McCain, who likes to wing it and keep his aides guessing what they'll have to "spin" next. Because she is so controlled, it's hard to learn much about her from public appearances and writings, so yes, I do look to other sources and then scrutinize them like I was the Obama material. In a more liberal forum I'd have to challenge Obama's credentials, but here y'all will do that just fine.

Probably the best friend I've ever had is from Alaska so I feel like I know a little about her already. That environment does breed a strength and independence that can be hard to understand because urbanization has forced most of us into other adaptations. She would adapt quickly and likely keep her core values intact. I want to be extremely careful in trusting her because she is likely the strongest leader of the four candidates, and I want a better idea of where she would lead.

Ducky's suspicion aside, I try hard not to disrespect anyone because each of us has worked hard to get - and stay - where we are. Quitters simply don't shoot competitively.

If I read this correctly with Palin as VP and Ducky bowing out immediately that would make an unstable woman with great legs (almost as good as mine anayway) president...I say lets go for it guys.
