Nope. That one's actually for sale and Kitty is hoping it didn't survive the hurricane (Evelio has it).

Rainy Day Annie kicked it out of the locker for me, probably meaning for Ike to wash it into the Gulf. Evelio says it shoots fine now but it is like that girlfriend you just can't give up.

That gun reminds me of the hockey mask wearing Jason in the "Halloween" movie series.......No matter how your kill it, no matter how many times you kill it, it just keeps popping back up....Next episode "504 IV Remmie's Revenge".......

Maybe we should take up a collection and just have Evelio write it off to storm damage and destroy it never to return. When asked, it's off to happy hunting ground.

When that 504 is on it's amazing, but it continually invents new screw ups. A 1712 in a Nesika stock, single stage trigger and really nice barrel would probably bring me around completely, but I keep trying to adapt to the two-stage trigger because a single stage Anschutz seems like more heresy, and then arguing myself out of a barrel swap because Anschutz barrels are so good and upgrades so expensive. I'm most of the way there with 1712 in a Nesika stock, and Evelio was originally going to adjust the trigger to single stage after Benton, but that plan looks like a no go now, so I may send it to Zwolle with John or - Evelio hates it when I even think this - adjust it myself.
I offered Evelio the 504 straight across for a 1712 barrel transplant but he ignored me for some reason. I'd make the same offer to Marv, but depending on this mood he'd laugh hysterically or toss me on a lathe. Maybe both. And post pictures.
