We have a friend who bought two tables at the annual Friends of the NRA for many decades and donated significant amounts of money.
As part of the table purchase, a firearm is to be given away for each table to the purchaser.
Some years these are fairly good guns like the Remington 700.
He never got the guns from 2021. He would go to the retailer, and they would never have the guns for him.
I know the retailer and they are honest. I can see their loading dock from my mailbox and the berm for their shop range is across the road from us.
The 2022 banquet is a few weeks away and by this time the NRA promoter has called him soliciting the table purchases and donations.
Nothing but crickets this year and he has changed venues.
Bottom line: Sells tickets. Cannot come up with promised prize guns. Ripoff.
