Is this final or is the Silhouette Committee still discussing the schedule?

Re: UPDATED SCHEDULE FOR NRA SILHOUETTE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Was there any consideration to have the Lever Gun Nationals at Ridgway alternating years as are SB and HP rifle. Ridgway has the facilities. Ridgway has a Match Director with crew of volunteers that have proven their ability during East Coast Regionals. Seems grossly unfair to East Coast shooters not to have a chance at a National Lever Action Match.

Perhaps you'd like the Kentucky Derby or Indy 500 shifted closer for you too?
You want to attend the Lever gun or BPCR Silhouette Nationals, go to them.

Did they ever come up with a reason why the Smallbore is after the Highpower?
Thanks, Dennis

Re: UPDATED SCHEDULE FOR NRA SILHOUETTE CHAMPIONSHIPS
That is a true statement, if you want to shoot the Nationals you have to go where ever they are held at. No matter where they are I have to fly to them. I don't have the opportunity to have them in my back yard. It costs me a lot of money and time, but I try to support the sport. If everybody would try to do this we would have a decent turn outside at the Nationals. But that's just my opinion for what is worth.

I thought I had asked a reasonable question. All you did was give a smart ass reply.
Same question. Was Ridgway even considered to host the Lever Gun Nationals alternating years? Seems to work for SB and HP.

Perhaps there would be a better turnout if the Lever Action Nationals were held in the West and East on alternating years.sdwooster wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2019 9:28 pm That is a true statement, if you want to shoot the Nationals you have to go where ever they are held at. If I had to guess it'd be shootoffs are easier with SB as opposed to HP....
Lever gun is the same way...

I've only shot the lever gun nationals once in 2004. It's not an easy drive to NM from the NE. Ridgway is still a full days ride but not impossible. Flying to Raton is out as most airlines only allow two guns and limited amouts of ammo. I fully support rotating it every year. As far as the Indy comment even they race at different tracks around the nation. CMP events are shot at both camp Perry and Anniston too.

Re: UPDATED SCHEDULE FOR NRA SILHOUETTE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Sorry 'ol mate BUT,
the INDY 500 is held annually at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) at Speedway Indiana, has been for over 100 years.
The Lever-gun and BPCR silhouette Nationals have always been at Raton, the question of rotating them has been raised before and resoundingly defeated at competitors meetings and via competitors questionnaire forms.
