I won one in Winnsboro. I opened the box when I got home and this is one really nice scope. I haven't mounted it on a rifle but I did turn it up to 24x and the cabinet knobs in the kitchen were crystal clear and sharp. Better then my 25x Leupold, but the Pold doesn't focus down to 10 yards(so i took it out side). I am looking for a Walther LG30, and this will be going on that rifle for the airmatches next year. One really nice scope. One thing that the Leupold did have on this scope was the click adjustments. These are not as refined.... Thanks DuckGumbo for calling my name.......... Mark D.

I bought one fo the first Sightron silhouette scopes in January and have used it once or twice a week since then. I like it better than the Leupold 6.5-20 EFR that I also have. I think the resolution is better, and it is easier change parallax settings. Now that the price of the Leupold has gone up, it is also a much better deal.

Sightron has a $50 rebate on Big Sky this year. I don't know whether the scopes mentioned earlier will qualify, however. Even without the rebate it is a good deal.

I bought a Big Sky 24x44 earlier this year because it focused down to 10 yards, but replaced it with a Leupold 6.5-20x40 because the Leupold was clearer and more compact. In my opinion, the Sightron is comparable to the Weaver - great scopes, but the Leupold is clearer. YMMV

If they're anything like the x24, I'd call the two comparable with the Sightron maybe a little heavier (check their respective websites for details).
