Gunsmiths for Pillar/Glass Bedding a CZ?

Post by Diamond Paul »

Can anyone suggest good smiths to pillar and glass bed a CZ 452 American without breaking the bank, and in a reasonable amount of time? Thanks, Paul.

There are lots of good smiths around that can do that. I've seen some jobs by Neil Johnson that were done in a fairly short amount of time and were done very well. I wouldn't think it would take a nationally known gunsmith to do a pillar bedding job, though. It's not like building an entire competitive rifle. I'm kinda spoiled though, as my gunsmith that lives two miles away is Jim Cloward, the armorer for the Palma team as I understand it, and is amazingly good. :)
